Obviously the teams who are in the Top 10 will have to go out and perform to live up to their ranking, but based on rosters and where these teams were last year, you can expect this as a good indicator of where they will end up. All this is barring injuries and maybe a team has injuries and will catapult but for now this is where your team is.

1.Los Angeles Dodgers

Obviously this team is stacked, every position has a monster player, its also got a very balanced and revamped pitching rotation, adding the likes of Blake Snell, who is a former CY Young winner to go along with the likes of Tyler Glasnow. Shohei Ohtani returns along with the likes of Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts, although Betts missed the Japan series with a mystery ailment, and has lost 25 pounds, he says he should be a go for the opener.

2.New York Yankees

The Yankees will always be the Yankees, the American League has looked to take a step back this year compared to the National League and has a bit more parity. Some teams improved, the Yankees obviously lost Soto but added Goldschmidt and Bellinger, lost Cole and possibly Stanton but this team still has an elite bullpen and the lineup can be special.

3.Philadelphia Phillies

This lineup is still lethal with the likes of Harper, Turner, Schwarber and if healthy, Realmuto. The pitching staff is solid but the pen is a question mark. This is one third of a very heavy NL East division.

4. Baltimore Orioles

They lost Corbin Burnes and Anthony Santander, which were big pieces to the team last year but the depth of young stars cannot be overlooked. They still have a lethal lineup with Henderson and Mountcastle at the top.

5.Atlanta Braves

Still a very good hitting team, the hope for the Braves is that Acuna will be back to his brilliant self sooner than later to compliment the depth of hitting they have. They lost Max Fried and Charlie Morton but they still have a depth of talent at starting pitching with the likes of Chris Sale and the Braves are hoping for the reemergence of Spencer Strider.

6.New York Mets

The Mets landed the whale of the free agency this year with Soto, signing the largest contract in MLB history, the problem is what came after. There are still major question marks regarding their starting pitching, guys like Montas who were brought in to remake their rotation are out for an extended period of time. There lineup past Soto, Linder and Vientos have some question marks.

7. San Diego Padres

The two headed monster that is Dylan Cease and Michael King should spearhead this team to at least a top two place in the division, Machado, Tatis and co could challenge for the division if there are any significant injuries to the Dodgers.

8. Boston RedSox

The RedSox made some big additions to their team with Bergman and Crochet, the Sox are hoping another year of experience will be enough to challenge the division, the major question marks is the durability, this team is injury prone, but the ceiling is high.

9.Cleveland Guardians

The key loss was obviously leader Josh Nailor, the Guardians are hoping another year with their young talent with team leader Jose Ramirez will be enough to challenge for the division in a very weak AL Central that is basically a two dog race.

10. Texas Rangers

The most wide open division this year will be the AL West, the Astros were definitely weakened this off season and the Rangers have enough talent to challenge for the division with players like

11.Chicago Cubs

The additions of Kyle Tucker is what the Cubs are hoping puts them over the top, an elite talent with great defense and power to help claim the division, which figures to be one of the weakest in baseball this year.

12. Seattle Mariners

13. Arizona Diamondbacks

14. Kansas City Royals

A good showing the playoffs last year, especially from MVP candidate Bobby Witt Jr, this team could challenge for the division, the pitching is the question marks, can they replicate or exceed from last year. Last September was brutal for this team, they must stay consistent to win.

15. Minnesota Twins

16. Detroit Tigers

17. Milwaukee Brewers

18. San Francisco Giants

19. St. Louis Cardinals

20. Cincinnati Reds

21. Toronto Bluejays

22. Tampa Bay Rays

23. Pittsburgh Pirates

24. Houston Astros

You hate to see a team like the Astros make such a stark transformation but they lost Alex Bergman, Justin Verlander is gone, they thought it was a great idea to trade Kyle Tucker away. The pitching is still solid and their new left fielder has issues catching the ball, Jose Altuve. Again, you hate to see it.

25. Athletics

A team with one name, the A’s will be in a rental stadium through 2027 in Sacramento, they are just the A’s, that’s it.

26. Washington Nationals

27. Miami Marlins

28. Los Angeles Angels

29. Colorado Rockies

30. Chicago Whitesox

They traded away their best pitching prospect in Crochet to the RedSox and shed a ton of payroll, they could challenge their own worst record, for the worst record this year.
