Yes, torpedo bats are legal. They seem and look like the most illegal thing ever but they are in fact legal.

Just want to add the full rules before we go calling the Yankees cheaters. Specifically if the umpire discovers that the bat doesn’t conform with any of the rules part, which means presumably an MLB official has checked these bats and they confirm with the rules.

I suspect that there will be more teams using these bats in the near future and there will be double digit scores around baseball. Unless maybe the Yanks just have good hitters, maybe the best hitter in baseball, nah that couldn’t be.
