The Yankees evened their series against the Giants with a strong offensive performance. Rookie pitcher Will Warren earned his first MLB win, allowing two runs over several innings with six strikeouts. The Yankees erupted for five runs in the fifth inning, highlighted by Cody Bellinger’s two hits and RBIs, Ben Rice’s 113.2-mph home run, and Jasson Domínguez’s two-run single. Despite a brief scare from reliever Fernando Cruz, Luke Weaver and Devin Williams secured the win.

Cleveland Guardians 6, Kansas City Royals 3 The Guardians extended their winning streak to five games with a 6–3 win over the Royals. 

Chicago Cubs 16, Los Angeles Dodgers 0 The Cubs shut out the Dodgers 2–0, thumping the Dodgers.

San Diego Padres 2, Colorado Rockies 0 The Padres blanked the Rockies 2–0.

Baltimore Orioles 5, Toronto Blue Jays 4 The Orioles edged the Blue Jays 5–4.
