Tony Gonsolin made a successful return, striking out nine over six innings. The Dodgers’ offense tallied 17 hits, with significant contributions from Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman, securing a series sweep. 

Seattle Mariners 9, Anaheim Angels 3

The Mariners extended their winning streak, with aggressive baserunning leading to multiple stolen bases. Randy Arozarena homered, and Julio Rodríguez’s dynamic play energized the team. Starter Emerson Hancock allowed three runs over six innings. 

Arizona Diamondbacks 4, New York Mets 3

Despite an early lead from Mark Vientos’s homer, the Mets fell short. Reliever Ryne Stanek allowed a pivotal two-run single in the seventh. The Mets stranded 13 runners and went 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position. 

Baltimore Orioles 5, New York Yankees 4

Aaron Judge continued his hot streak, going 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs. However, Carlos Carrasco’s struggles and defensive errors led to the Yankees dropping their first divisional series of the season. 

Toronto Blue Jays 7, Boston Red Sox 6 (10 innings)

The Blue Jays rallied from a 6–0 deficit, scoring seven unanswered runs. Alejandro Kirk delivered a walk-off hit in the 10th inning, capping the comeback victory. 

Detroit Tigers 7, Houston Astros 4

Javier Báez’s grand slam in the third inning propelled the Tigers. Astros rookie AJ Blubaugh allowed five unearned runs in his debut. Despite nine hits and seven walks, Houston left 12 runners on base. 

Milwaukee Brewers 6, Chicago White Sox 4

The Brewers capitalized on a three-run eighth inning to secure the win. Jared Koenig earned the victory in relief, and Trevor Megill notched his third save. 

Kansas City Royals 3, Tampa Bay Rays 1

Michael Lorenzen pitched effectively, leading the Royals to victory. Carlos Estévez secured the save, and the Royals’ offense provided timely hits.
